if that money was earned in the US/CAD then its a very good deal but when you consider the fact that when you convert a Jamaican salary for normal people it isnt much compared to what is earned here then it is a big deal.

Thanks for all your kind responses.....I was not complaining....was merely looking to compare Ja. prices to US &amp; Canadian. The fact is, I'm not earning $ in the US. All the foods I purchased were NOT imported so had no GCT tax. BTW, I had no idea that the price of a whole chicken in Canada was $10.
