Re: lunch and dem tingdere
rice and peas with curried chick peas and vegetarian chicken strips. Topped off with a salad and definitely some water and/or ice cubes (I accidentally burst the pepper in the rice and peas
).
Later - yogurt
So where's your lunch?

daht sound like sinting mi would eat.
how you mek daht ephra? </div></div>
Mi meck it di lazy way
*1-2 can of chick peas (or more, depending on desired quantity)
*curry powder (preferably Indian or Guyanese curry)
*1 packet goya sazon seasoning
*black pepper
*season salt
*garlic powder
*onion powder
*thyme
*pimento seeds
*mckay's (vegetarian) chicken seasoning - optional
*1 hot/scotch bonnit pepper
*(and if you do the strips or any veggie meat product, then add that also)
*likkle water
Put di pot pon di fire fi simma wid di water. Add di chick peas when water start fi bubble likkle bit. Then add all di season an' ting dem - you haffi season to taste (sorry, mi no longer use measurements, unless I'm baking or following an entirely new cook recipe
)
I used to add chopped garlic and onions, along with some escallions, but laziness got the better of me, so I only use the powder now.
Aftah everything done, enjoy! Trust me, it's da bomb diggity!!!
