Every good cook needs a great potato salad recipe, and Oprah says that Patti's is to die for!
INGREDIENTS
20 boiled red potatoes, chopped
12 boiled eggs, chopped
1 bunch celery, chopped
green bell peppers, chopped finely
Habanero chilies, chopped finely
jalapeno peppers, chopped finely
Sweet relish
French's yellow mustard
Hellman's mayonnaise
Large white onion
Black pepper
Seasoned salt (like Lawry's)
Celery seed
Paprika for garnish
Place potatoes, eggs and celery in a large mixing bowl. Add all other ingredients to taste.
I don't do the celery seeds though..... </div></div>

this is how I make mine 90% of the time, without the celery seeds, chiles, and jalapenos and with a pinch of sugar. AND I only use the heart of the celery stalk .. it's sweet and tender

I use plenty of hard boiled eggs, and a good amount of mustard. I like it with tiny grated carrot and celery chopped small. And of course, sprinkle paprika on top. </span>Comment
