Breadfruit Drink?

I read something recently:

Me nuh know bout di drink, but the breadfruit chips with avocado dip sounds lovely.

It says the drink is made from ripe breadfruit, which has a sweet taste. I suppose if they gave it a thin consistency, it might be somewhat OK.

There's an ackee dip recipe on ja.com front page. Breadfruit Chips would probably taste good with that too . Yes, I hear ya on the thin consistency..

That I have had. It was made like potato salad, and it was pretty good. It was made with green breadfruit.

Green Breadfruit? Oh my...I guess its similar to that Green Banana Salad....I looooove potatoe salad, and I figure the txture ought to be similar..Got a recipe you've used or familiar with Pepper?

LOL, Silent I said I ate some, not prepared some.
Never had green banana salad, but the consistency was the same as with green bananas.

I too looooove potato salad. So you might enjoy the breadfruit salad.

oh, and it is green banana and saltfish salad...not the same as green banana salad..

True...seems like I might enjoy it if I like potatoe salad..I am gonna have a go <span style="font-style: italic">one day</span> ..and come back and report..I should be able to find a recipe...

It was not watery and not really thick. I cannot liken the taste to anything I have ever had. If I was told it was breadfruit drink I would not have drank it I tasted a friend drink when she told me to taste it....was good so I ordered one. Nice eesi!!
