Winter squash rules the kitchen today.....

we snacked on a savory butternut squash quiche...

now I have a pot of curry peanut pumpkin soup simmering on the stove....I actually found locally grown raw peanuts at the farmers market yesterday...I roasted them and made my own peanut butter last nite....the farmer had some nice spinach also, which will somehow make their way into the meal....
