Refreshing Summer Beverages

What do you like to drink (with or without alcohol) in the Summer? Please submit your juices / juicing ideas.

ILP Watermelon Slushie

• Frozen watermelon cubes
• Club soda
• Blend in blender until slushy.

At least that is what I remember

THIS NUH HAVE NO NAME:

2 Light Beers
2 Cups Vodka (flavoured vodka is good too)
1 can Frozen Limeade
Lots of ice.
Stir well

Serve in martini glasses

Star fruit, pineapple and ginger blend with ice

Watermelon Sangria

2 pounds seedless watermelon, peeled and cubed
1 bottle dry white wine
2 cups fruit-flavored vodka
Simple syrup

In blender, blend watermelon then strain through strainer.
Pour in glass jug. Add wine and vodka. Sweeten with simple syrup to your taste.
Serve over ice and decorate with skewer of melon balls and mint leaves.

gwine try this

2-3 ice cubes in a large[r] glass
add 2 or 3 shots of [HJ] Wray and Nephew overproof white rum...aka 'whites'. [You know. Da real ting.]
Mix in the preferred amount of chilled TING so as to suit your taste buds. [Careful not to kill the 'whites']

The TING relaxes the bite of the rum and the grapefruit ingredient makes for a nice, light [tasting] and refreshing 'summer' beverage' which can easily be enjoyed 12 months of the year.

[No ting? Don't use cola. Too syropy. Grapefruit squash is nice...but not as light tasting and not always easy to obtain.
Last resort? Wata.]

For the second, third and forth of these 'Whites wid TING' concoctions...use a little more rum and a little less TING with each ensuing, refreshing summer beverage.

beets with mango, pineapple , apple n ginger…just finish one and it is sooooo refreshing….just blend n enjoy

'Cept for Rich...who's NO DOUBT well versed with the drink in question...I am S H O C K E D that no one has commented on what an outstanding 'summer beverage' whites and ting make!!!???!!!

Perhaps they're all still recovering from the 'experiment'/experience. [or still testing it ]
