The spreads at Zabar are the bomb! A friend usually comes from Manhattan with what we call Scarf Bread (also from Zabar) and a wide variety of spreads.
They're also quite delightful on a fresh H&H bagel.
I could eat cheese every day but I don't cos it hates to leave!!
Try a nice creamy cheese with some red pepper jelly.
Tried a new cheese today called Tomme de Grosse Ile.
It is a semi-soft cheese that is a cross between Brie and Camembret (?sp). The process is some old technique that a bunch of French monks did invent in the 16th Century or something like that....
i thought i'd give it a try since i adore Brie

JA Jewel - you are right But I dont see Jamaicans acquiring a taste for goat cheese. I could be wrong....hope I am cause it would be a good business venture. Goat cheese is so popular here it would be a shame that Jamaicans cant take advantage of that.
