When I prepare "brown stew" fish or chicken, I use catsup & "pickapeppa" sauce in the gravy. As an American I had never done that before....only used catsup as a condiment ON things like burgers, hot dogs and fries.

when mi mek stew fish mi sometimes use ketchup, when mi nuh feel fi use vinegar.
it add color and flavor to di gravy.

i love it on home fries. home fries well done. lord of mercy dat nice. i can only eat dat at restaurants that specialize in all day breakfasts.

i used to add ketchup to ground beef when making home made burgers or meatloaf.

ketchup in my pulled pork, ketchup in my meatloaf...and ketchup in the sauce that goes over the meatloaf. ketchup in my marinade for beef too.

I used to mix ketchup and mayo and relish to make thousand island dressing when I was outta salad dressing..
