boil banana tip

so mi learn a new trick from mi MIL.
mi did a complain she di banana dem weh we get here well full so dem tuff bad...

she seh fi add one strip of bacon to di pot (after u tek off the skin if u cook dem in skin)

mi try it today and di banana dem come out soft even doe dem still have di full taste

This is what I do. And my bananas come out soft all the time.

dem always seh u fi pour ile eena di pot wen u a cook any ground provision...suppose fi mek it no tun black...ole time peeps always use fi put di saalfish tail eena di pot too....

wen u cut yam etc u fi use a lime so wipe di end of di piece u naw use...stop it from tun black too

i think the oil do more than the salt, caw the one time mi figget fi put the oil it was a hell fi get the starch offa the pot.

my bananas always soft when them just cook, but turn hard once they get cold.

anybody boil banana in the skin? i do that caw mi cant bodda try fi peel it. mi find the skin absorb the salt.

i boil bananas in the skin. i hate peeling them. the skin is a *itch to take off when the banana still hot doah.

yeah mi always bwile eena di skin..easier fi get dem out...cut crass di top an di battam, slit dung di banana lentways an drap eena di wata....den u juss liff it outta di peel wen it cook
