Re: blue berries
Blueberry sauce
2 cups fresh blueberries
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Wash and crush blueberries; add sugar, lemon juice and salt. Mix well. In a small saucepan, bring blueberry mixture to a boil; boil 1 minute. Add vanilla. Chill.
Put it on ice cream, pudding, and or cake.

Re: blue berries
Fresh blueberries taste fabulous on vanilla ice cream, too.
And I love 'em on breakfast cereal.
Blueberries are very healthful and packed with nutrition, and are strong anti-oxidants.
One of my secret fave 'treat snacks' is toast spread lightly with crunchy Jif and fresh blueberries.
(<span style="text-decoration: underline">note</span>: I said Jif, not just any ole peanut butter.)

Re: blue berries
boil them down with some maple syrup or honey. Add a cinnamon stick and maybe a splash of orange juice.
u can use it on his ice cream or mix it up (after it has cooled) with some whipped cream and eat it with a nice pound cake.
<span style="font-weight: bold">or make a no bake pie with the compote above:</span> mix it with equal parts yogurt and whipped cream. toss in some fresh berries including strawberries. Mix that together and put in a graham crust and chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
Very very nice
I make a blueberry crumble most times with it. Nice after school snack for little man.
