Saturday having mi real dinner at church ... them having

whole heap of turkey
bison roast
roast beef
fry chicken
nuff salad
rice and peas
rice and gungo peas (mi making that)
mashed potato
stuffing
gravy
apple crumble
pumpkin cheesecake (if mi feel up to it)
pumpkin pie
carrot pies
peas
corn
and some other things mi no memba

Sunday I may feed my sister and her family and a friend if I feel up to it

curry goat
jerk/fry chicken (no make up mi mind yet)
rice and peas
roasted potatoes
black bean and corn salad
sorrel

no turkey cause that will come soon enuff at Christmas time

and everyone is too tired to make a big production so...

Well smaddy show up with it so somebody had to cook it ... should have just taken it to your house so you could do it for me

Anyways ... my bird came out nice and juicy mi follow the advice whe smaddy at church give me and one recipe mi find online and cook it breast down and just flipped it for the last hour so the breast could get a little colour. I tasted a piece and it was good so I ended up adding some to my plate and the other none turkey eaters (90% of who were there) ate some and took some home with them.

What was supposed to be a quiet thing with my sister ended up feeding about 12 people. My kitchen is clean ... thanks to the person who invented the dishwasher and me and my baby are in bed.
