I made soup wid di turkey chassis
Last night after dinner: Take off much of turkey meat. Chop turkey chassis in four large pieces. Put in crock pot, add water, turn on 'hi' setting, then let it slow cook overnight.
This morning: remove turkey. Strain liquid from crock pot, then pour strained stock back into crock pot. Remove good pieces of turkey meat from bone reserving 'not so good' to make dog food later. Discard bones.
To strained stock add:
1 package Grace Cock Soup
1 package frozen cooked squash
1 can chopped tomatoes*
3 cups shredded cabbage*
1 scotch bonnet pepper
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
Salt to taste
Turn on 'hi' setting. Cook in crock pot until late afternoon removing the scotch bonnet before it buss
