Breadcrumbs

I no longer use the store bought version ... anybody else make their own?

I save all my bread ends and if bread is getting old I throw them in the freezer ...so now I'm ready to bake...

place bread crumbs on cookie sheet ... preheat oven to 350
bake for 5 mins, tear into pieces and throw into blender ... I use the pulse option and in a few minutes I have wonderful breadcrumbs perfect for all my recipes at a fraction of the cost... introduced a friend to the concept and she is all over it.

I've done this here is Ja. too because it's hard to find the packaged version....always lots of bread ends laying around....I just put them in the freezer till I have nuff &amp; them process the crumbs as you said and then freeze them to keep fresh.
