mi fren was talking bout eating dis at a tapas place.

mi find di recipe:
wrap each dried date in bacon, skewer with toothpick, roll in a likkle brown sugar, put pon baking sheet/pan and bake. i put it in fi bout 20 mins at 350 or so di bacon scripy to u liking

* 4 ounces almonds
* 1 pound sliced bacon

1. Preheat the broiler.
2. Slit dates. Place one almond inside each date. Wrap dates with bacon, using toothpicks to hold them together.
3. Broil 10 minutes, or until bacon is evenly brown and crisp.

dont know how i feel a bout dis one...it no mek my mouth water at all...den again i dont tink i ever eat dates so maybe dats why.

vegas is just few weeks ago mi admit to mi fren dat mi neva ever eat date before. mi gingerly try one and it was tasty.

so now mi hear bout dis recipe and dress up di dates and di rest is history
