Ice Wine

anyone have a type that they would recommend?

I picked up one bottle already but only cause I like the wooden box it is in Otherwise I have had only one kind but dont remember which vineyard.

The stuff is too expensive to buy willy nilly so if anyone has tried one they like let me know.

OMG..you knoe this is one of my favourite, all time wines right...??

I've only tried a couple but Inniskillin was the best..dem have quite a few ice wine producers in canada..

I cant remember if it was an Inniskillin I bought last night or not but I did see that brand in the liquor store. It was the most expensive one if I remember correctly

I need to buy one more bottle, so I will look for Inniskillin in the duty free shop on the way out

I know we are renowned for our ice wines but those prices are no joke I would love to sample more but getting it wrong is hard on the pocket book.

I wish someone would buy me a bottle too


my cousin was visiting 2 yrs ago and she really wanted to take back a bottle with her. But she was running out of money by the end of the trip. So I figured the least I can do is pick up a bottle for her and a few others for when I visit.

..yes..that's one of my duty free purchases..like Grand Marnier..

you have to be careful..i once had ice wine that tasted very close to grape juice..yuck..and it was still pricey..

CeaBee it is sweet and you serve it very cold and you sip it. IMHO only buy ice wine from Niagara. And pay good money fi good quality It nice man.

PZ, wines from the B.C. region are supposed to be the best for Canada. Or so me hear

If you can find bottles for $24 out east, you all are doing good cause out here the CHEAPEST ice wine starts at $50.00....$70.00 is the average price.

out here the prices of ice wine start at about 27....the late harvest is cheaper
