That Space Between the Stove and The Counter

That space annoys the heck out of me.
I have seen those strips that are used to cover that gap, but I have always been reluctant to buy one. Does anyone have one of those strips? How useful are they?

Right now I use the wet dishrag and knife method to clean that area. But I am sure I am losing that battle.

My method is to ask Mr man fi move the stove and mi just sweep, wipe and clean the area ever so often ... plus mi have this likkle skinny broom that fit between there for weekly cleaning ... hate that are and the between the fridge and counter too

i dont have a space.
when wi remodeled the kitchen shortly after buying this house.
i sent back 2 sets of appliances because i cant stand the spaces.

now pulling out the appliaces to clean is a bit of a workout... but oh well.

You must have a good amount of space there. I can only fit a knife in there, not even a spoon will fit.

Do you have a gas or electric stove? I always worry that too much moving up and down will cause a problem.

electric and yes there is good enough room between at least compared to my former apt.

i need one of those strips. i have to pull the dratted stove out once a month.
