on 23 February between 7 and 10 a.m. IHOP is serving free short stack buttermilk pancakes in honour of nat'l pancake day. In return, the restaurant asks that you make an optional donation (suggestion: the amount you would have spent) to the Children 's Miracle Network, which raises funds for children's hospitals. Last year IHOP raised more than 1.3 mill - and Americans ate more than 2.5 mill free pancakes.
