Questions about Pear

I never really cared much for it..but now me fine every once in a while I have a yen for it...ting is after 1 or 2 slice me kinda clide...so what is the best way to store cut pear? with or w/o the seed? in or outta fridge..if me recall dem use to leave de cut pear out?

an any recipes?

me know yu cyan mek guacamole and spread it on bread like butta..any thing else?

I ususally eat a whole one at one time, so I dont store it too often

the experts say to store it with the seed to help perserve it. but if u splash the cut side with some lemon juice that works just as well. And I never put them in the fridge. just keep them in a brown paper bag in the counter top.

Avocado salad

sliced avocado
sliced red onions
arrange on bed of lettuce
a creamy dressing or vinegrette would be nice on top.

i make a similar salad like Peasie's except I add pink grapefruit to the mix. The acid in the grapefruit keeps it from turning brown.

pink grapefruit..sounds odd..but i guess I can see the citric flavour complementing the pear

actually it is quite nice together.

i mix together a bit of the grapefruit juice, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and chop up some green onions. give it all a good shake and pour over the salad. Quite re-freshing and nice

fill the half pear with baby shrimps <span style="font-style: italic">(or skrimp salad for us mayo lovers)</span>

drizzle with vinaigrette and lemon juice
and a lil salt
maybe some fresh parsley
