What's Cooking on your Barbecue?

What do I love about summer??? Let me count the ways...

My husband is a wonderful cook in his own right, but when it comes to barbecuing...he is simply great!

Yesterday we did halibut, which we haven't bought for a while because it is actually quite pricey. It never used to be, but it never seems to come down in price when on sale.

I am so glad we picked one up though...it was fabulous...and really reminded me of the texture of grouper that we always have in Jamaica.

No pimento wood, but it sure was delicious.

'Lemon Oregano Halibut steak, Garlic potato wedges and Mediteranean Feta Grilled Peppers.

Sprat that looks great!!! I have friends who go fishing and bring back all kinds if fresh fish - but I don't recal ever cooking halibut...

We haven't gotten around to BBQing yet - still kinda chilly and rainy on this side of the world - but missa man loves his grill and his smoker - I'll be sharing as the year trudges on.

Last night we did Skewers on the Barbie...

Started out with all of these ingredients...Shrimp, scallops, sirloin, pineapple, peppers,tomatoes, potatoes, mushrooms, zuchinni, corn, pineapple, olives, pearl onions....I think that is.

I bought these pre-seasoned skewers. ( Sensations for Sobeys in Canada)

Thai Lime Coconut and Rosemary Citrus. They are great...and add such wonderful flavours to the food.



Roasting on the barbie...
