So it looks like curry ackee is not an acceptable recipe lol. Ok, well in the interest of variety, what else can you do with ackee other than eat it with saltfish?

its our National Dish so we eat it wid more saltfish

it is a SIN SIN I tell u to eat it w/o saltfish, unless of course yuh can get you hand pan some cawn pwoak (but dis is a rasta chred so we wont go there )

that is the only acceptable substitution

OK Sweets, CeaBee, and Queen. I guess I'll stick with the traditional method whenever I buy my can. I would like to try to cook it fresh, but they make it sound like need a degree to get the fruit out.
