Baby Dutch Yellow Potatoes

I cooked these for the first time the other day and could not believe how delicious and (like the description seh) buttery. I threw some in my skillet grill and some in the broiler...they're the perfect thickness for grilling and size is perfect

Ingredients

• 20 Baby Dutch Yellow Potatoes, whole or halved, depending on size
•1 tbsp olive oil
•1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning
•2 cloves or 1 tsp minced garlic
•salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a large ziploc bag. Once potatoes are well coated with oil and seasoning, spread them evenly in a baking pan, lightly sprayed with Pam. Bake at 425 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

.5lb bag of baby dutch yellow potatoes
1/2 cup Land O Lakes light butter
2 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
Juice of 1 lemon
1 Tbsp parmesan cheese grated



Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Place potatoes in on 8x8 baking dish. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, salt, and lemon juice; pour over potatoes and stir to coat. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over potatoes. Bake covered, in a preheated oven for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Number of Servings: 4

I love doing the yellow baby potatoes...they always taste so wonderful.

Fresh sage goes so well with them...and this is my version. [/img]

I start out with this...and they can be done in a skillet or on the barbecue in tinfoil.

Very simple: Chop veggies and you can cut the potatoes in half and par cook them in the microwave to make the cooking time less in the skillet.
Add virgin oil and add veggies and fresh sage, parsley and thyme. Saute and then add potatoes. The best part is when they carmelize and get a nice golden brown.

Thanks Jaded, they are tasty...

Sage has a peppery taste...and you probably have used it in poultry dressing for turkey or chicken.

i tried your recipe..so simple and so delish i was going to take pics but the presentation was not on par with yours good tip about carmelising

i used shallots and sea salt as well..
