Do you soak your bammy in milk or water? I have always soaked mine in milk. I have read online that they can be soaked in water, but kept on soaking them the way I had been taught.
Yesterday I planned to fry bammy, and I thought milk was in the fridge. There was no milk, and I really didn't want to go out, so I soaked them in water.
I was skeptical, but they tasted fine. I wonder what is the purpose of soaking in milk?
