jerk chicken on the grill

cabbage & mixed veggies
carrot juice

hopefully i coerce smaddy fi do the grill thing or I will have to eat whatever they decide to do as I now have c ankles and leg cramps so standing to cook isnt an option.

Two notes:
1. Not a regular Sunday type meal but oh well.
2. Why in the hades didn't I put that ground turkey in the lasagna?

fresh balsamic vinaigrette
fresh black bean, corn, salsa (wid nuff pepper )

wine for dem
water for me
milk for hunter

no precise measurements...everything just get dash in deh, eyeball method and when everything looks the way we think it should...then...I eat it

black beans (usually done the package, soak, boil method...but today's is canned)
fresh corn on the cob (boiled and then cut off the ear)
tomatoes (plum, cherries, whatever)
onions (red, but white works too)
cilantro (fresh) (basil works, so does mint as long as it's fresh)
celery
jalapeno peppers
<span style="text-decoration: underline">very</span> small piece of habanero
salt
pepper
olive oil (just enough to wet everything)

sometimes we add balsamic vinaigrette and peaches/nectarines/pineapples for different flavours...

i am not cooking today, so what (and how much) actually makes it into the bowl depends on di current mr ilp.

me tackling duck breast..not sure how me gwine dweet up yet
probably serve it wid jasmine rice and grilled veggies
white wine
and me making caramel ice cream..but me nu so sure how dat gwine turn out..the suga me whey me carmelise last nite taste more burnt than caramel

den yu nu hear me chat bout chicken patty, curry chicken and chicken soup

i eat primarily fish but once in a while me eat<span style="text-decoration: line-through"> chicken</span> poultry...whenever the craving hits me..

vegan/vegetarian days were decades ago..
