Tuh mek matters worse, mi heard dis maawning that the contaminated eggs are being used in other food products like Mayonnaise and ICE CREAM.. an di infected hens are still being used for their eggs...dem still a lay...what a greedy, naawsy set of ppl doah een?

...mi love eggs an mi luv ice cream now an agen, but you guessed it...I will not be consuming any of them anytime soon.

They restricted the importation of lemons from Spain this year due This lemons being infected with salmonella.
Due to the (ph) low level of acidity lemons can actually be infected by common bacteria.

Dem seh at the egg farms in kwestian, di amount a nassiniss whey dem discovered incl:

* MAGGOTS

* LIQUID MANURE

* DEAD FLIES AND LIVE FLIES

* Rodents among the eggs

* over 60 [not sure of di #] rodent holes

...and that insanitary conditions as this can cause serious food borne illness..

Naaaw; I've seen documentaries about filthy plants especially meat plants detailing how they kill the animals and for HOW LONG THEY STORE THEM before they reach the s'market....so when yuh think yuh eating fresh meat, it could be all 3 years old and older..

..also reports about infected chickens where they cut off the infected parts and sell the &quot;better parts&quot; and the buyer has no clue that the bird was infected...HOWEVAH...mi did tink all dem nassiniss did stap...

mi nat gwine menshan agen migrant workers who poop in the lettuce and tomato fields... ...no wonder there are s o many STRANGE diseases in *America*...

bottom line WASH carefully alll food eaten raw, and nothing RARE in the meat dept if yuh can help it...iow...cook meats well....act wisely, live longer/healthier...
