..well since of late, mi notice seh all the stores near here a sell "probiotic" yogurt...a soh di sinting dem taste awful...tuh mi...glimpsed a few "original" ones on the shelf, but now? Nat a wan.

Senor Faithful bought me quite a few of them not knowing seh mi hate di taste...now mi haffie goh carry dem a wurk an leff dem innah di fridge...those who will eat people's lunch etc should have a treat with them.

What's all this probiotic this an that now?

thanks Sue...the issue wid mi is dis, I strongly dislike how the probiotic yogurt taste, plus the texture...and wha mek things so bad...all the stores near mi here carry only the probiotics in this brand....mi noh like the other brands that are not probiotics..

alll of a sudden the ads/commercials are about probiotics...mi a wandah hiff dis is the new fad.

Faithfull, have you tried the Astro plain yogurt? Like you I don't get all the hype about the probiotic either. but i usually get the astro plain for making mango lassi -- and i've gotten it with vanilla flavour as well.. good luck

Thanks agen Sue...I'll be going out later to see if that Astro yogurt is available around here...

the same for the Greek yogurt Tanya...mebbie ppl should start buying other brands of their choosing, plain an simple.

Probiotics replace the important 'GOOD' bacteria in your digestive system that help to digest food properly. They are important ESPECIALLY if you are prone to take antibiotics indiscriminately, which kill off the &quot;good&quot; bacteria, as well as the bad.

Honestly, Seemiya, I think ALL yogurt has &quot;live&quot; cultures in it that promote good bacteria in the intestines....think it's the health food &quot;hype&quot; just trying to sell products that promote the other ones!

You are right yogurt in its natursl state is made of milk and probiotic culture.

This similar to adding antibiotic to soap.
