my community, which is right next door to pickering, have ackee regularly fi $4.99 or 2 fi $10. u coulda save gas money going all di way to brampton fi $3.99.

I have been wanting to try cooking ackee and saltfish myself, but they are around $15 a can at the farmer's market. I think that is an outrage. I could buy a roast, potatoes, carrots, onions, tomatoes, and some green seasonings for that amount.
