mi noh mine di smoke turkey caz mi noh it di meat --- i give the meat to woody di dawg --- or my kids, but i lorves the flavour to the beans, specially wid di nuff garlic, scalliion and onion.

Dem likkle likkle, bout one-third size of a red bean. Got them at organic market.

Mi have dem cooking right now in the crock pot. I boiled them first and let soak for about an hour. The beans smell a likkle like black-eyed peas so mi hope dem doan taste same way

Thinking of making stew peas. Gawn go get mi Knorr Veg soup mix

Did any of you &quot;peas&quot; lovers ever try black beans (peas) and yellow rice or Black bean soup? Pretty much cooked the same as stew peas but I add some cumin to give a nice flavor. I put carrots &amp; onions (diced) in the soup.

If you want to try something different, you might like it!

adzuki beans are supposed to be a bit sweet and mushy. they are the beans used for bean paste. not surprised they wouldnt work for stew peas.

I generally use black (turtle) beans for stew peas. I posted about this last year
