Where Do You Store Yams?

I usually store all my provisions in the fridge, but it seems Yams, yellow in particular does have a long shelf life in the fridge. I have a piece now that I am storing at room temp, plan on cooking it tonight....I can't wait to see how it held up.

Don't they get freezer burn?

My room temp stored yam held up fine.

double freezer bags Peps and that is only when I am not using the yam within a week... otherwise it just goes in a cool dark place where I keep my potatoes and plantains

Me nuh too keen on freezing, so room temp will be my new storage system.
