BOAL! My family is not too particular about Turkey....each year my cousin who is a Chef..usually surprises us with a turkey that ends up uneaten.....

I may get some ham and cook it up with some ackee for breakfast.....

Since this is mommies last ho-ha-ha before she leaves Wi are having company (cousins that want to see her before she leaves)...

Everyone was told to bring something...but wi will have on hand

it is a rice dish popular in west african countries. their equivalent to saturday soup. they dash in alla what them have left over in the pot wid some rice and cook it down (not really as simple as I explained, but...)

it usally have stew beef, chicken, sometimes pork, carrots, onions, green peppers, corn..them add in curry, corriander, ahn them things...


when the broth cook out then... you eat it

I usually host TG every year for our family, however, this year since many are going to their in-laws for change...will be going to my sisters for a small gathering (just as cheap....less food fi pig out pan!!) No stress for me....I'll just be making some roast veg and buying a pumpkin pie...TG just aint complete for me without pumpkin pie!...
