I did not grow up eating lamb so I never really got a feel for various ways it could be seasoned. The few times I bought lamb chops, they tasted kind of gamey when I was done and the texture was not what I was expecting.
At any rate, I bought some lamb neckbones. They were on sale and I said what the heck, let's give em a try. I cook turkey necks, beef neckbones, and pork neckbones with no problem so I should be able to handle the lamb.
I looked up a few recipes online to guide me, but they all involve making a soup. My plan is to brown them and then stew them down and serve over brown rice I marinated them in onion, garlic, and parsley overnight. I'm looking in my spice cabinet like now what?
Preshate any help you can offer.
