oonu use oonu own? since mi start recycle more, (altho there is couple teefing neyba that keep on a teef mi recycle bin but thats a whjole notha thread). Anyhow, mi also a separate out stuff and mi take to zapping things down the disposal- an amercan contrivance that mi neva really got into in the past. U know say due to alla that mi barely put our regular trash a week time.

Oonu use foonu own? is there anything mi not sposed to put dung deh. sometime mi fraid fi put di oxtail bone in deh

I usually don't put any bones in it. Mine is not industrial strength like that. I imagine it could take down an oxtail bones but certainly not chicken drimsticks or anything like that. Plus once it quits, both sides of the sink get clooged and I have to get under there and use this elbow screw thing to get it restarted. Too much of a paoin so I don't dispose of any bones there.

I slice a lemon in half and drop that in once a week to keep it fresh smelling. That's like my Sunday night ritual after I clean the kitchen.

Tuffy - you are ABSOLUTELY NOT supposed to put bones in there \o/ - it soon bruk if yuh continue do dat... den agen u an cooking ah nuh fren so how often could that be

you not suppose to? that's is where my chicken bones go and the oxtail bones from the trini/jamaican restaurant a town.....guess warranty wudden cover it eh, as is not normal wear an tear......a tell yu the things you find out on ja.com

Mine is designed to take bones and since we compost is usually just bones going in there.

Tulip mi like how di lime smell too- but i not regular doing it like you another good cleaner for it is baking soda followed by vinegar (and foam, oooh science).

Jazz- GDAB especially since u pawshally right- i havent used it very very oftin for bones. It nuh bruk yet so :claphands: wah ppl who dont have dawg pose fi do widdie bone dem?? Fling dem rounda back inna di wah u call that thing there that u dig dirt over organic waste adn dem usie fi fertilizeroooh

Stormy dont lissen Jazz yaw- caw di ting dem have hummuch horsepower, dem mus can hangle likkle natral bone! Hmph

Animal products (eg chicken &amp; dem ting dere) nat good fi compost so u might as well fling ie dung a disposal.

My glasses need a good cleaning. I swore Jazz said Tulip and not Tuffy. Lawd lol!

Well, I seasoned the lamb to cook tomorrow. Had to wait for it to defrost. It's going to turn out good this time. After four days of effort,I m going to have a lamb neckbone recipe yet.
