The microwave!

I hardly ever use it anyway. Mostly to heat water for hot chocolate and tea, or soup. I don't care to eat warmed food from one because it gets wrecked. Anyway, I reclaimed the counter real estate and it is wonderful.



I did already set to warm water for hot chocolate but did it on the stove and it really didn't take very long. Meanwhile I putzed in the kitchen and straightened. Maybe the room will be more organized now!

I went without one for almost a year until my brother moved in on an ahem "extended visit".

I really didn't miss it except for using to make popcorn. I never cook meat in it, but it can do a good job with frozen veggies that I just want lightly cooked.

i went for one without years. i don't like left over food, but sometimes it is quite handy.

Note to self: clean out microwave tonite.

I LOVE my new counter real estate! I don't miss the thing at all so far. The few times I went to use it before I remembered I threw it out was when I made hot chocolate.

I absolutely do not like heating meat or pizza or anything in one, but soup was OK.

I don't like microwave popcorn at all, so I won't miss it for that.

My kitchen has stayed mess messy because when I do spend the little extra time in thee I spruce it up a bit each session!

I moved mine into the dining room when we redid the kitchen and its going to stay in there.
Only use it occassionaly for veggies or hot chocolate. I like naked countertops since my kitchen is soo small.
