i know normally winter time certain fruits weh mi like not plentyful and dem generally dear. but dis year of all mi fine dem extra scarce. and wen u do see dem dem look like dem a come from iraq. wen u do find some weh look ok dem no taste good. wats up this winter....

fruits like peaches, nectarines...the orange dem sour like lime. di last time mi buy regular orange we used dem mek suga water. normally mi can still fine a half decent wate melon etc...even the banana dem taste bad. been eating alot of canned fruits cus mi cyan do no better.

Try to stay away from the canned stuff, Vegas.

Frozen fruits, particularly berries, may actually be <span style="font-weight: bold">more</span> nutritious than fresh fruits. Another option is to try dried fruits such as apricots, mango slices, and plums. Dried plums (used to be known as prunes ) are packed with anti-oxidants.

i agree with peasie, frozen is better than canned. tho frozen fruit can be dear, too.

Winter can be especially hard in ones efforts to eat fresh fruits and vegetables. With the harsh winter (and even harsher wid oonu weh live up inna di frozen tundra) it has been really expensive..that is if you can even find fresh produce at all.

In that case...try to always buy what is in season. If that not working, buy frozen. My grocery store keeps things well stocked and then I stock up during the sales. I'd stay away from canned things. Mi notice seh Gungo tell you fi eat dried fruits...mi nu know bout you, but when mi eat them tings mi haffi mek sure mi at home, so I can access the facilities....QUICKLY

good to know about the canned. i do buy the frozen berries but i have been eating those little fruit cup tings quite a bit. which have in too much sugar

if i could find di tings i wouldnt mind paying but as mi say dis year scanty bad. mi buy one papaya and instead did sinting fi ripe is a ratten mi dis cah it back an deman mi 6 dalla add.

you know vegas.....i didn't know fruits could taste so good until I went to Jamaica and Trinidad and got them right from the tree....compared to bananas in Canada dang....what a difference.....and the smell is uncomparable. When being driven in Jamaica and we are approaching someplace with lots of bananas you smell them before you see the.....really awakens my senses

The organic bananas kinda taste like banana ... but u right Vegas some of the fruits really nah mek it...
