walked over to the kitchen table to pick up two plums. they cost $2.00 for 2 little plums. so i asked the nice lady how much per pound they was she said $2.99/lb. this stuff wouldn't normally even run .75cents for the two.

Food prices continue to climb with no end in sight.
I feel sorry for low income people and many seniors.
They can't even find a cheap brand of cat or dog food to survive on any more like they use to. Wait 'til they have to start eating mud like they do in Haiti. Those days are not as far off as many people would like to think.Comment

A dollar a plum is outrageous.
I recently got a thing for avocados. Depending on whst store I go to, I think they have lost their minds Surprisingly, I get the best price at Trader Joe's.Comment

for weeks i couldn't find no fresh peach, plum or nectarine. finally saw some think i paid around $1.99/lbs....but what can you do? u gotta eatComment
