Adriatic Tuna Pasta




1/2 pound angel-hair pasta
1 tub (7-ounce) pesto sauce OR 3/4 cup homemade pesto, room temperature
1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
1 (6-ounce) can albacore tuna (Creamer likes hers packed in olive oil), drained
1/2 cup (2-3 ounces) feta cheese, crumbled

Prepare pasta according to package directions.

Place pesto in a serving bowl. Add cherry tomatoes and tuna and toss to combine, breaking up tuna into small chunks. Add feta and gently toss to combine. Add hot pasta and toss to coat.

This does sound really good and I love pesto.

I wonder if I use tuna steaks instead of canned tuna if it would have a favorable result. (Obviously, I'd have to cook them first.)

I have heard it called capellini before, but this is my first time hearing of spaghettini at all.

I googled a pic and it looks like angelhair. It's thin, right?

looks like angel hair pasta may be called spaghettini up this side. one site said angel hair is thinner than vermicelli, which is what them call spaghettini sometimes.
