I been reading alot about them and would like to search for them. Never tasted..have you?
My Dad and I often went out for Morels and Ramps in the spring.

Don't they use specially trained pigs to help sniff out truffles in France?

At least that is one of things I learned going to high school in Jamaica ... always figured that piece of information would come in handy one day

never had truffles, i wonder what they taste like? from what i was reading they say they lose their flavour quickly. gonna ask jeeves---------------------->zoom. getting lots of exercise today.

from that description it sounds like the wood ears or the dried/fresh ****take mushroom.
