Wen oonu mention salad a Sunday day time, a bay tomatis an cukumba mi see oonu a talk bout?

Mek oonu a malice di lettuce? and di tomato salad have to have cheese dont? Mi cant imagine bay cuke and toms how oonu mekkie?

btw, mi finally try persian cuke- and them quite crunchy. This lady at the farm market tell mi say she just grab dem eat dem (like celery) at any given time. Mi nuh graduate so far yet :greenman:

I still have tossed salad and salads with a variety of salad greens. I am a fan of tomatoes and cumbers though. I can eat them with just salt and pepper.

My absolute favorite way is chaat salad:

1 large pickling cucumber, or a small regular cucumber
1 tomato
1/2 small red onion
1 to 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped peeled, fresh ginger
1/8 teaspoon toasted cumin seeds
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon chaat masala
salt
pepper

Mi tiyad a di iceberg. Mi plant up a likkle mixture pon di windasill and cut from there.

actually i had so much junk this weekend all i will be having for dinner tonite is some salad. i have some chicken tenders from di party mi a go cut up an put een deh...by time mi done wid it mi a go bayly recognize di lettuce

my tomato cucumber salad is basically english cucumbers sliced/cubed with slices/chopped tomato with some light zesty italian salad dressing. No cheese...
i dont do iceburg lettuce any more, romaine or green leaf... I still haven't braved up to eat raw spinach but i often just cut 1/2 a cucumber and just munch on it.

mi uh think meeda eva tired a lettuce+ or the mixed greens. which btw, sometime mi mix raw kale, watercress w/ regular lettuce, or even parsley. it nuh always nice give a new flavor.

i dont know that i would enjoy soso cuke and tomato :hmmm As much as mi pose to love cukes (lower pressure), i cant get into it cuz it too watery.
