is only 8:15am for me....
was wondering when unnos gwine poas the menu for the likkle food
....so me can live vicariously through unnos.....not at home.......why oh why hotel food so blasted bland....figet to walk wid me likkle scotch bonnie peppa sauce

LOL, it's not the healthiest prep method ever but it definitely tastes good.
You basically season and flour your chicken. Fry it in a pan enough to brown it but not cook it through. Drain out most of the oil in the pan and leave about as much as you would use to make gravy.
Add the meat back and some water, cover, and simmer until it finishes cooking.
It makes it have a nice brown color. The flour you fried it in makes the brown gravy. Still, it maintains a nice outside texture while being juicy on the inside with a very flavorful gravy.
That is smothered chicken - southern dish.
(If you want onions, peppers, or anything like that then give them a few minutes with the oil before you add the chicken back.)Comment
