who can give me a good recipe,

i do my ting, but mine no come out nice and fluffy, musse caa me no use baking soda??

btw, what is the diff between baking soda and baking powder???

My mother always mixes self-raising and all-purpose flour in her batter. I don't know the proportions though.

Sis....mi cyaan tell yuh di exact measurement, cah mi just fling in di ingredient dem free hand...but mi use APF an likkle baking powder.

Ingredients:

Saltfish
Onion
Skellion
Tomato
Garlic
Scotch Bonnet (of course)
Thyme
Likkle Curry Powder
Likke Cumin
S & P
Garlic Powder

Sis, i think baking powder has cream of tartar in it. baking soda is essentially one ingredient that u can use fi scour pot or mix up and drink for indigestion.

sistac, i think if your batter is thick, then the fritters will be fluffier.

I've used this recipe a couple times...i didn't measure every single thing but i thought that it came out ok :

1/2 lb saltfish
1/2 lb flour
2 onions
2 tomatoes
2 cloves garlic
1/2 hot pepper
2 stalks escallion
2 tbsp oil
2 tsp baking powder
oil for frying
