What are my options for my cake since I've run out and the fruits need soaking and I dont know where to get it in my city (still checking but if I dont get lucky what can I use)

You really don't need to soak the fruits. Just put them in a blender and blend. Then add the rum and wine to the mixture and hey presto you have your soaked fruit.Comment

Thanks but I have my strategies and I am a creature of habit ... I know the shortcuts but that shortcut does not provide the answer to what is the substitute for red label wine...Comment

o. you can also use sweet sherry. the kind that the rubbies drink. like pale select.
