For Hielpee
4 chicken sausage (Amylu brand - pre-cooked, caprese flavored one, it has in mozzarella cheese)
1 box chicken stock + water
1 can cannellini beans, drained
1/4 pound kale (previously cooked in crockpot with smoked turkey)
pot likka from kale
1 bay leaf
pepper flakes
1 teaspoon Kirkland (Costco brand) Organic No-Salt Seasoning
handful of wholewheat pasta shells
Spray pot with Pam spray and put on medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken sausage - about 1/2"slices. I used a 5 quart pot but all the above came to less than 1/2 of the pot. Cover the pot and let chicken cook for about 5 minutes. Cheese from sausage will melt in pot and may even slightly burn - that's ok as it adds a little flavor.
Add chicken stock and water. Bring to boil.
Add drained beans. Add kale and its pot likka.
Add seasonings. Add pasta. Cook for another few minutes.
Serve with shaved Parmesan cheese.
