I was gifted with ---
-- a Jamaican Easter bun
-- a Greek Easter bread (red egg wrapped up in swaddle/coffin-shaped loaf of sweet egg bread)
-- an Italian Easter bread (similar to ^ the Greek ^ but no egg, and round shaped loaf, and with raisins)
-- a Good Friday Italian "Grass Pie" (a double-crust pie of spinach and broccoli rabe and ricotta - not real grass) and Macaroni Pie (not really a pie, per se, no crust)
-- an Italian Easter Vigil Egg Pie (a quiche, basically)
-- hand-made matzohs from Israel air-shipped second-day + hand-made matzohs from Brooklyn (these make <span style="font-style: italic">THE BEST</span> matzoh brie)
I am <span style="font-style: italic">SO</span> gonna need to starve off all of the pounds after the holidays! OMG!!
