Food Processor or Mandolin

Mi tek inventory of the kitchen gidgets mi have and notice that the food processor that mi have no work anymore. Anyway, looking for a new one. The one mi dash out today was old(er) and didnt have many features. Ive been into slicing things lately with a borrowed mandolin. It would be awesome if this new processor had that feature.

K....oonu come with the suggestions. Oh....and please have mercy on mi pocketbook.

Since is a mandolin send mi go ER and likkle most mi no have no finger leff ... going suggest a food processor. Lets see what other's have to say.

Food processors come with slicers. Get one of those and you will have both.

I have the worst luck with food processors. I don't know whether the ones I buy are too cheap or I just don't use the attachments right, but my results usually seem only slightly better than if I had used a blender. Then when I think about the clean-up afterwards, I usually just give up and pull out a knife and cutting board.

Anyway, I have been thinking about trying an electric mandoline. I have not really had time to research them yet, but I might try this one I saw in a catalog: http://www.brylanehome.com/decor/Ele...roductTypeId=1
