Thanks Gen! I couldn’t get past thinking of General Motors.
Here’s a quick and easy one I made this afternoon:
<span style="font-weight: bold">LOW COUNTRY BOIL</span>
aka Frogmore Stew
Unpeeled Shrimp – 1/2 pound per person
Spicy Smoked Sausage – 1/4 pound per person
New Potatoes – 1/2 pound per person
Corn on the Cob, cut into thirds – 1 – 1/2 ear per person
3 tbsp Crab Boil or Old Bay Seasoning per gallon of water
Several Lemons, halved
1. Fill a large steamer pot halfway with water. Add Crab Boil or Old Bay and lemon. Bring to a boil.
2. Add potatoes and cook for 15–20 minutes.
3. Add sausage and corn and cook for 10-15 minutes.
4. Add shrimp and cook for 3-5 minutes until shrimp turn pink
5. Drain immediately and serve with condiments (melted butter, cocktail sauce, sour cream, ketchup) if desired. (I like it plain.)
<span style="font-weight: bold">I needed a bigger pot but refused to do anything about it lol.</span>
<span style="font-weight: bold">Still came out tasting yummy though!</span>
