Well it will be me that is hosting Christmas 2012, right here in the Borderland
Mi tell everybody that coming that mi not doing no big cooking, so them must arrive early enough to do grocery, so them can mek them signature dish.
So far the menu:

Fried Turkey (curtesy of di current mr ilp)
Smoke Pork Butt (same as above)
Baked Chicken (my sister)
Curry Chicken (my other sister)
Escov Fish (my aunty new husband)
5 Cheese Baked Mac n' Cheese (curtesy of di current SIL)
Tamales (A Mexican/Borderland Tradition) * both sweet and the savory kind (curtesy of Lupita)

Jallof Rice (my BIL)
Pumpkin Souffle (mi mekkin that)

Virginia sister, BIL, and niece are joining the Peas for dinner and next morning breakfast. Menu is:

Pineapple upside down cake (inspired by Ms Exced)

*Roly Poly is a ground beef-dumpling thing my Grandmother used to make at Christmas on her wood fired hearth in her Manchester kitchen. I think it is unique to my mother's family

So mi make use of the time weh ppl have off and since Adale never have him party mi invite 3 of his friends and their siblings and parents over so he could have a play date so of course when ppl visiting you have to feed them.
