I am from bammy "country" I no longer eat it unless someone else prepare it - had too much of it when I was a child. I used to love it when Mommy made bammy with curried lobster or crabs (i.e. as a wrap) but I don't eat lobster or crabs anymore. Fried dumplings I like - every time I visit my family I get fried dumplins [johnny cake] with ackee and salt fish and old time hot chocolate for breakfast the first morning..
