I was driving church bus and one older lady on the bus said she use to eat Aiden Mango a Jamaica. Mi seh a de fus mi eva hear bout Aiden mango.

Mi a go list few mangoes weh mi know and have eaten before, uno can add the rest and tell me how Aiden mango taste. TIA.

in st thomas we refer the string/hairy them as common mango. only time we eat them is when mango scarce. my nieces laughed me to scorn when they visited last summer and saw me buying them fi oomuch dollar a dozen. LOL.

Sweetie is like blackie as it noh really ripe till it start turn black. we don't have it in St Ann (I think) as I only ever got them driving from St E to Negril before yu reach holland Bamboo an middle Quarter. that Mango is like DRUGS #noshame one time (maybe 3) me one siddung an nyam 10 a dem.

home in barbican we had these mango trees.... huge trees and the neighbours would come down and help themselves
Kidney mango - shape just a kidney, the skin was very thin and it spoil real quick... this tree didn't bear much mangoes and when it did, it was prized
Number 11 - my favourite! Nice and delicious. wonder how it came about being called "number 11"
Blackie - another favourite .. sweet and delicious.
Stringy - another favourite but the work picking the hair between your teeth
