What unno doing?

When my children were younger we would have Thanksgiving with their Philadelphia grandparents and the rest of the PA family. My role was to set the table I love setting tables and yes, ironing the table cloth and napkins

wots a table cloth? i remember those rituals. i don't do those things anymore. the adults are coming over tomorrow. lots of shopping to doo doo today. we don't do the napkin thingy. strictly paper plates and the finest plastic flatware.

the william ashley sale has started. me and mr. sue go each year. i got the bestest flatware set, a salt cellar (what?) and stuff i have to dust. he gets stuff for his fambily which i pick out.

do youze guys have a william ashley there?

For a party up to 12 people, I use the only dinnerware I have ~ some restaurant industry plates I bought directly from Homer Loughlin, mismatch of cloth napkins, and mi Lenox flatware. Haven't had a crowd bigger than that for dinner at my house

At first glance I thought you were cooking deer which was actually eaten at the first Thanksgiving.

this child found pumpkin ice cream at the supermarket from last week suh she been eating that

i dunno what i cooking yet, depends on what mi see at the store to buy

definitely will include


corn bread stuffing
pumpkin cheesecake OR
pumpkin pie
tons of vegetables

still working on the rest of the menu

i haven't had anything pumpkin flavoured to celebrate the season. Pumpkin ice cream sound interesting (hate pumpkin pie though)


I will be going over to sister's house, wearing loose or stretchy pants.

mi not big on the maddy maddy flavah ice cream dem, but it taste OK, one scoop is all I had (more than 1 might be a bit much)

I mix it with 1 scoop french vanilla and top it off with whip cream

the pumpkin cheesecake on the other hand

I have a really nice recipe for pumpkin bread (like a coffee cake deal) and it is good and I doan like sweet tings

I think because the deserts have whole heapa calories/fat this year the meat and sides gwine to be very lean and/or healthy, mi not even doing mac and (3) cheese
