Ingredients
1 lb butter
1 lb sugar
1/4 -1/3 cup browning
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond flavouring
2 tsp lime juice
2 tsp lime or orange rind
8-12 eggs (based on size)
3 cups raisins
2 cups prunes
1 cup currants
1 cup cherries
1 cup citron
1 cup bread crumbs
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp mixed spice
1 cup rum
1 pint port wine (fruit wine or red label if you can get it)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 f
Line baking tins with grease paper
Chop fruits in blender adding more rum/wine as needed (if fruits not soaked steam for 5 mins and cool before chopping)
Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in browning, vanilla and almond flavouring, lime juice and rind
Add eggs 1 at a time and beat in well
Mix bread crumbs, flour, baking powder, mixed spice and salt
Add blended fruits and flour mixture alternately to egg mixture
Bake for 2- 2.5 hrs or until toothpick comes out clean. Place a pan of water below cakes.

Here is the post. Donnika is the one with the 12 eggs recipe. I have used it, 12 eggs and all and it came out pretty good.
