my cousin caught a bullet in his head and left behind twin boys because he decided to help someone who was being beaten up outside a club. It was the person he was trying to help that blew his head off.

broke my heart at the time and made me think about what I would do in that situation. If ppl are willing to fight publicly, you have to realize that sometimes there are no innocent ppl involved in the melee sometimes.

I remember seeing this couple fight on the street when I was a kid in New York. The man punched the woman he was with in the face after quarreling about something.

My dad got up to go help her out but then she made it clear she needed no help. Homegirl picked up a glass soda bottle sitting on a garbage pile near them and smashed this guy in the face with it. Nasty scene for true.

Then with my cousin's demise, I thought the most I will do is call for help but I wont step in nor would I want the man I was with to get involved either.

I remember being at a free open air festival, sitting and watching the performance, and this guy was yelling and beraing this woman. She sat there crying. I went over and told the guy to knock it off or I will call the police. Then I ask, "if her if she was ok?". She look mi inna mi face an tell mi, "I am fine, leave it alone". Mi go back goh sidung watch di show. Mi look ova later and shi still sidung deh deh ah bawl. Long kiss teeth.

When I was a kid in Jamaica I saw this guy draping up his girl and flinging pere box on har,...crwod a people come dung and seh no man yu cyaan do har like dat,...pow !! is a nedder box shi get and pere bl.. cl...and r... cl...for the crowd.

Then out the crowd step "wannie" a guy with only one leg,...blap ! blap ! thats the sound of the machete across the bad guys chest,him turn an stawt run,,wid wannie aftah him same way and the crowd running behind and shouting,...mister bad guy get hitch up between two houses,...blap ! blap ! ....machete a wipe cross him back.......that was some funny ish,I`ll never forget that,..wannie became a local hero after that.

My old man once told me about a domestic dispute that unfolded out in public. Only thing is it was the man being beaten by the woman for whatever reason there was.
Lo`n behold when the man had nothing of a semblance of resistance left, the woman slackened his pants and did the coup`d etat.
